Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor management.
• Document incidents and communications to supervisors and appropriate personnel.

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
