Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Saint Louis, MO. You will protect client sites in chemical/petrochemical sectors, conduct armed patrols, deter incidents, and deliver loyal customer service.

This full-time driving role requires vigilance, integrity, and teamwork to support a flexible, community-minded security team at Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Valid armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening as per laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and follow site-specific procedures and emergency response actions at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report according to procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, control entry/exit of personnel and vehicles, report concerns to site leadership.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency and incident-reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, control entry and exit of personnel and vehicles, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment, including authorized firearms, and follow all applicable laws, client requirements, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
