Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Driver in Brownsville, TX, to provide reliable guarding services with a fixed anchor shift and opportunities to pick up additional shifts. Pay rate is $14.00 per hour with a schedule including DayTime Thur 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM.

Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license, Texas Level III Armed Certification, 21+ years old, and a high school diploma.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Driver Response in Brownsville, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur11:00 AM - 11:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of retail sales areas, parking lots, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required armed post qualifications and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, client requirements, and applicable laws.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
