Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in West Paducah, KY. This part-time role involves driving to patrol facilities, maintaining a visible presence, and responding to incidents with professionalism.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Armed guard card and/or license preferred.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as conditions of employment.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government utility location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, perimeter areas, and critical infrastructure to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, screen vehicles and/or individuals as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and public response agencies when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
