Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol Access Control in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help to deter security‑related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to support a fast‑paced operation through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people‑first culture.

Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat07:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and reporting unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security‑related observations accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
