Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Driver in Bryan, TX, to conduct vehicle and foot patrols at a retail grocery location and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

The position requires a Texas Level III Armed Certification, a valid driver’s license, and readiness to perform emergency responses while providing excellent customer service in a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide security services at the site and assist clients, employees, and visitors.
• Conduct regular armed patrols in retail sales areas, receiving areas, and parking lots to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points and observe activity; report incidents and policy violations per procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when needed.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain logs of patrols and observations.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Bryan, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct vehicle and foot patrols at a retail grocery location, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Texas Level III Armed Certification. Deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer, employee, and delivery activity for unusual conditions; report incidents and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
