• Maintain reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation per site procedures.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol CPR Certified in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and utility personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, parking areas, equipment yards, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vendors, and vehicles entering restricted utility operations areas.
• Maintain required reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation while following applicable site procedures and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
