Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer armed patrol in Riviera Beach, FL. The role focuses on protecting facilities at an aerospace/defense site, maintaining presence, and providing customer service.

Position requires 2+ years in security-related fields, an armed guard card, and an active clearance. You will work daytime shifts with a schedule that fits your life and may involve background checks and drug testing.

• Minimum 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed guard card or license is required/preferred.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• DD214 with honorable discharge, associate degree or 60 college credits, police/corrections academy certificates.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background checks plus drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations and notify appropriate contacts or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, access areas, parking lots, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor and delivery activity per site procedures.
• Prepare daily activity and incident reports and communicate with Allied Universal leadership.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, controlled-access areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Provide a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
