Job summary

Allied Universal in Seattle is hiring a Security Officer Armed Patrol Permit Holder to safeguard customers and property at a busy retail location.

You will perform regular armed patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and maintain detailed reports while delivering excellent customer service and adhering to site policies. The role requires a Concealed Carry Permit and Armed Guard licensing, with ongoing training and competitive wages.

• Maintain calm and professional communication during incidents or emergencies.
• Conduct routine armed patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting hazards and policy violations.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
