As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Hookerton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned area, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. This position requires an armed guard card or license, as you will be entrusted with upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Tue	05:45 PM - 06:00 AM
Wed	05:45 PM - 06:00 AM
Thur	05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations during patrols.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed in response to incidents or emergencies.
• Follow all site-specific protocols and procedures related to armed patrol duties in a government environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
