Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, corrections, military and/or degree in criminal justice.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of interior, parking, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and per protocols.
• Maintain armed equipment in accordance with laws, training, and site requirements; document patrols accurately.
• Assist with access control, visitor management and traffic/parking concerns in patient care environments.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility interior areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain authorized armed equipment in accordance with applicable laws, training, and site-specific requirements; document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and traffic or parking-related concerns while maintaining a professional presence in patient care environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPO certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, corrections, military and/or degree in criminal justice.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
