Qualifications

• CPO certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of law enforcement, corrections, military, or degree in criminal justice.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral health concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with facility personnel and first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, responding to access-control concerns and restricted areas.
• Complete required reports and communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

• Sat – 07:30 AM - 08:30 PM

What You’ll Do

• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, responding to access-control concerns and maintaining awareness of restricted areas.
• Complete required reports and communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• CPO certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 year of law enforcement, corrections, military and/or degree in criminal justice.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is required.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
