Qualifications

• Conduct regular armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations following established protocols.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document visitor activity and incidents.
• Maintain equipment and comply with laws, licensing requirements, and company policies.

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Response Driver in Taylorsville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, government facility policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document visitor activity, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports.
• Maintain assigned equipment and perform duties in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
