Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Healthcare Site - Weekends in Fayetteville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As an armed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. You will contribute to a secure environment by responding to incidents and supporting access control measures. Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized individuals and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activity according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access within the healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
