Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer for an entry access post in Greenville, SC. You will patrol, monitor access points, and deter incidents while delivering professional customer service in an aerospace/defense setting.

This full-time role requires an armed guard card or license, a valid driver’s license, and at least 3 years of security experience; adherence to site procedures and laws is essential.

As a Security Officer Armed - Entry Access in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing professional customer service and clear communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Perform armed patrols of assigned facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials and authorizations, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Complete accurate reports, maintain required armed post equipment and documentation, and follow applicable laws, licensing requirements, and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 3 years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
