Job Description

As a Elite Security Officer - Armed in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer in a retail environment, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a visible presence. Your role involves interacting with the public, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This position requires carrying a firearm, and you must possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas. Additionally, a valid driver's license is necessary for this role. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Mon 02:15 PM - 10:30 PM
Sat 02:15 PM - 10:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have an armed designation for armed roles.
• Candidates must have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military experience, or possess a college degree.
• Applicants must have 5+ years of Armed Security experience if no law enforcement or military experience.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.
• Texas Security Professional Guard Card is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
