Excelsior Defense is urgently seeking a local, tech-savvy, professional Armed Security Officer to join our elite team. If you're proficient with computers, experienced in access control, take pride in top-level customer service, and reside in Tampa, FL, this is the ideal position for you.

Position Highlights:

1. High-Visibility Front Desk Role: You are the first impression of the building! Computer-based operations include managing visitor/vendor logs, CCTV monitoring, email correspondence, and report processing.
2. Access Control: Maintain building security by managing door access, verifying visitor credentials, and monitoring all entry points.
3. Daily Interaction: Greet employees, vendors, and visitors professionally and courteously.
4. Incident Reporting: Document incidents with detailed reports using Excelsior's online reporting tools.

Qualifications:

• Strong computer skills (Outlook, web-based forms, basic troubleshooting).
• Experience with access control and CCTV systems.
• Valid Florida Class D & Class G Security License.
• Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable with the ability to handle emergencies calmly.
• Must live within 20 miles of Tampa, FL.
• Prior experience in office building security is a plus.
