Job summary

Allied Universal in Nashville, NC is seeking a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol to protect clients across various government-related sites. You will provide courteous service to staff and visitors, perform patrols, and respond to incidents as part of a professional security team.

The position requires an armed guard card/license and a valid driver’s license in line with Allied Universal policy. Expect regular patrols, entry-point monitoring, incident reporting, and meticulous log maintenance

Qualifications

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, parking areas, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify authorization, inspect credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Operations in Nashville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government corrections environment, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. This driving post requires an armed guard card/license and a valid driver's license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
