Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver First Aid in Jacksonville, FL. The role involves protecting passengers and staff, patrolling facilities, and responding to incidents with professionalism and clear communication.

You will verify access, document events, and maintain compliant records while supporting a safe, courteous environment for everyone on site.

Qualifications

• Customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors following procedures.
• Armed patrols of transit centers, parking areas, platforms, and perimeters.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and emergencies calmly and professionally.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry.
• Prepare clear reports and document patrols and observations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at transportation facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit centers, parking areas, platforms, administrative areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and applicable laws.
• Monitor access points and help control entry to restricted areas, verifying authorized access and reporting access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and/or interactions with the public.

Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
