This full-time role requires an Armed Guard Card, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work night shifts.

Qualifications

• Two years of combined law enforcement, military, or corrections, or possess a college degree in criminal justice.
• Armed Guard Card or License.
• A valid driver’s license are required per policy.
• Computer or tablet use is comfortable (preferred).
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law; may be subject to drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures and policies.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify authorization, maintain visitor records, and communicate access-related information per procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalating when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Prepare reports and communicate incidents and observations with management and responders.

As a Security Officer Armed Access Patrol in Boynton Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, maintain visitor records, and communicate access-related information in accordance with property procedures.


• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site management, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency responders regarding incidents and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of combined law enforcement, military, or corrections, or possess a college degree in criminal justice


• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.


• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.


• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
