Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Armed Access Control Driver in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. You will guard clients across residential communities, monitor access points, verify credentials, patrol areas, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

The role requires an armed guard card/license, a valid driver’s license, and a background check.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of law enforcement, corrections, military, and/or degree in criminal justice.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, document visitor and vendor activity, and direct individuals according to community procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and access‑control records in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.

As a Security Officer Armed Access Control Driver in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a residential community, you will monitor access points, verify visitors, conduct routine patrols, and help maintain a welcoming, secure environment for residents and guests. This driving post requires an armed guard card/license and a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• An Armed Guard Card/License is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, corrections, militaRy and/or degree in criminal justice.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
