Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Alarm Panel Operator in Richardson, TX. You will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.

Preferred background includes alarm panels and access control. This full-time role requires a high school diploma and compliance with background checks and drug screening as required by law.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Operator in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Preferred experience with alarm panels and access control systems will support your success. Pay Rate: $18.88 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within common areas, and assist with visitor and contractor entry in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
