Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for an Airport Interior Concourse location in New York (Rosedale). The role involves unarmed patrols, exceptional customer service, and adherence to site policies at an aerospace/defense setting.

Shifts are overnight on Wed and Thu, with a pay rate of $21.25 per hour. Applicants must hold a NY State Security Guard License, be 18+ (21+ for armed roles), and pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, access points, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report unusual activity, potential hazards, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and visitor directions while maintaining professional interactions with travelers, employees, and vendors.

Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
