Job summary

Prosegur in Philadelphia, PA is hiring part-time security officers for 2nd and 3rd shifts, including weekends. You will monitor entrances, patrol premises, enforce rules, and respond to emergencies while maintaining a safe environment for clients and visitors.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of security experience, reliable communication, and physical ability to stand or walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property
• Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or rule infractions
• Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures; respond to emergencies
• Escort individuals on foot or by vehicle to locations or for personal protection
• Write detailed narrative reports and daily activity reports (DARs)
• Provide courteous assistance to customers, employees, and visitors
• Monitor for irregular or unusual activity
• Secure facility and designated areas
• Enforce company policies and procedures
• Investigate and prepare incident reports

• Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance
• Escort on foot or by motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection or to escort persons off customer property
• Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs)
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Monitor for irregular or unusual activity
• Secure facility and designated areas
• Enforce facility and company policies and procedures
• Investigate and prepare reports on incidents

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have one (1) year of experience as a security officer
• Must be available to work posted schedule
• Must have original social security card
• Must have good communications skills
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods
• Must not be claustrophobic or afraid of heights
• Must be able to walk/run flights of stairs on a daily basis.
• Ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods
• Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behaviors
