Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation per laws.
• Background histories considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus facilities and perimeter locations.
• Monitor parking and traffic activity, assist with access-control procedures, and report incidents.
• Respond calmly to incidents and coordinate with campus personnel and emergency responders.
• Prepare clear security reports and maintain professional communication with leadership and site representatives.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an educational facility, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon - 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue - 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed - 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat - 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun - 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, vehicle access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor parking and traffic activity, assist with access-control procedures, and report vehicle-related incidents or concerns in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate campus personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
