Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors per site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities and related areas.
• Monitor access, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain entry records.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and notify site contacts and responders.
• Report maintenance concerns and security observations per procedures.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol in Kinston, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related needs. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare-related facilities, manufacturing or laboratory areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required entry and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when required.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, policy violations, and other security-related observations to Allied Universal supervision and site management in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
