Job summary

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, conducting patrols, and reporting activities to site leadership.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security‑related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as required by laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site procedures and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies with calm, professional problem‑solving and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify hazards and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening and access control procedures as required by the site.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site leadership and management regarding incidents and daily activities.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Emergency Preparedness in Greensboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directions, and access‑control procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site leadership, healthcare personnel, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least two years of security‑related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
