Responsibilities

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, respond to alarms, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel; verify credentials and maintain required logs.
• Report observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns promptly to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
