Job summary

Allied Universal in Tucson, AZ is looking for a Security Officer with an active DoD Secret clearance to protect aerospace/defense locations. You will monitor alarms, coordinate dispatches, and maintain incident logs while delivering excellent customer service.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma, background check, and drug screening. Prior alarm panel and access-control experience are preferred, with a valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Qualifications

• Respond calmly to incidents, coordinating notifications to site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular patrols around the site and report access concerns or maintenance issues.

As a Security Officer - Active Clearance in Tucson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatcher supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor alarm and access control activity, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, maintain clear communication with personnel and emergency services, and document events accurately. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Dispatch security-related personnel to alarms, incidents, service requests, and critical situations using radio, telephone, and computerized dispatch systems.
• Monitor incoming communications, document calls for service, maintain incident logs, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and responding personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, reporting unusual conditions, access concerns, and maintenance-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
