Job summary

Allied Universal in Mabelvale, AR is seeking a Security Officer Access Systems Operator to safeguard facilities and support site operations. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access systems, and maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents while delivering professional service to employees and visitors.

This full-time role requires you to be at least 18, have a high school diploma, and pass background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, checking credentials, managing visitor and driver entry, and documenting access activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, gate traffic, and/or access-control systems; report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, trailer yard, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
