Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors by following site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials and directing authorized personnel.
• Screen inbound and outbound vehicles, drivers, and deliveries per site procedures and document discrepancies.
• Respond to access-control incidents and alarms, escalating per site protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

Day Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors by carrying out site‑specific security-related procedures, access‑control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor records, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Screen inbound and outbound vehicles, drivers, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, documenting relevant information and reporting discrepancies.
• Respond to access‑control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
