Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Concierge in Denver, CO to provide reliable front desk service at a designated site. You will greet visitors, verify access, issue credentials, and enforce site policies while maintaining a professional presence.

This role offers flexible daytime and overnight shifts with fixed anchors and the possibility to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings. A high school diploma and background check are required, with CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• 18+ (unarmed) / 21+ (armed) age requirement.
• Background check and drug screen in accordance with law.
• Background investigation per federal, state and local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Conciergein Denver, CO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.15 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or shoppers by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Serve as a professional front desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Monitor entry activity, visitor logs, and available surveillance or communication systems; report unusual activity and security‑related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, incidents, deliveries, and other front desk communications in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
