Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Access Response in Spartanburg, SC. You will monitor access points, patrol the site, and provide professional customer service to protect clients across various industries.

Qualifications

• 40+ hours per week availability may be required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with security procedures and site policies is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with badge systems and access control is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while enforcing site policies and security procedures at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in line with site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and communicate observations to site contacts or responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter, documenting issues.
• Complete required reports and maintain accurate activity logs per site procedures.

As a Security Officer Access Response in Spartanburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and personnel, and use technology to document activities. Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 12:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Wed 12:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Thur 12:00 AM - 12:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site procedures and applicable access-control requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter, documenting unusual conditions and security-related concerns.
• Support a professional environment by completing required reports, maintaining accurate activity logs, and following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
