Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Access Registration in Westlake, TX to monitor and safeguard clients at a financial institution location. You will provide customer service, perform access control tasks, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine access control activities, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Tue: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Wed: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institutions location.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and employee authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, common areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and support site policies.
• Assist with maintaining a professional, welcoming environment while communicating clearly with employees, visitors, vendors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
