The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to work a night schedule, and strong customer service skills; you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the distribution location by verifying identification, access credentials, and authorization for personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records; issue and collect temporary access credentials in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, loading areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized entry and report unusual activity.

You will manage access points, verify credentials, monitor entry activity, and provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. Help maintain an orderly environment through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and a reliable presence.

Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour
