• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized access and identify security concerns.

Job Description

As a Security Officer - Access Control Point in New Braunfels, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service. You will help maintain an orderly environment, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a food and beverage distribution location; verify authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access logs.
• Screen and direct delivery personnel and commercial vehicles in accordance with site procedures, coordinating access to receiving, shipping, and warehouse areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned business areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
