Job summary

Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to observe and report activities at a client site, patrol the site, and enforce safety and site rules.

The role includes controlling access, screening visitors, and maintaining a secure environment for personnel and property. Key duties involve responding to incidents, writing logs, and coordinating with client representatives and authorities as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to meet state licensing requirements for Security Officers.
• Basic Life Support CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and write routine reports.
• Ability to adapt to fast-changing situations.

Responsibilities

• Controls access to the client site or facility through the admittance process; assists visitors with entry.
• Provides a courteous, respectful interaction with each client employee and visitor.
• Communicates openly and responsively; provides information about the site as requested.
• Monitors entrances and exits; prevents unapproved entry and controls movement of people and vehicles.
• Patrols the site, checks for hazards, security violations, and unauthorized persons.
• Protects evidence or scene of incident and provides direction or information as needed.
• Prepares logs and reports; inspects security logs and takes action as required.
• Observes and reports incidents to client representatives or authorities as appropriate.
• Responds to incidents following site procedures and training.
