Job summary

Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Access Control in Keewatin, MN. You will protect entry points, verify access, and assist visitors at an industrial site, delivering professional customer service.

As a full-time Access Control Officer, you’ll follow site procedures, monitor credentials, and patrol restricted areas to deter unauthorized activity while supporting a safe, compliant work environment.

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct individuals according to site requirements.
• Control vehicle, pedestrian, and delivery access to restricted areas, following established procedures for inspections, documentation, and escalation of irregularities.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other designated locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
