• Control vehicle and pedestrian access at gates and entrances; communicate entry instructions and report unauthorized access or irregular activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, escalating concerns per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or associates by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points for a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, and maintain visitor, contractor, and driver entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access at gates, entrances, and/or receiving areas; communicate entry instructions and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
