Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Brewton, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control access to restricted manufacturing and industrial areas.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and document actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned facilities, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized access.
• Maintain accurate security-related records, including access activity, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
