The role supports a visible security presence, enforces access-control procedures, and delivers quality customer service while coordinating with site leadership.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized individuals to designated areas.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, access-control activities, and unusual observations in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
