Job summary

Allied Universal in Houston, TX seeks a Security Officer Full Time Access Coordination to safeguard residents and visitors, manage entry/exit, verify access, and provide a welcoming, professional presence on site.

Position offers a daytime schedule with a pay rate of $16.50 per hour. Requirements include at least two years in security and a high school diploma; background checks and drug screening apply. Allied Universal emphasizes integrity and career growth.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and maintain accurate entry and departure records in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, access points, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Report maintenance concerns, access-control issues, and other security-related observations according to site-specific procedures.
