As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, monitor access activity, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, processing authorized visitors and vendors, maintaining access records, and directing arriving personnel to appropriate areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle gates, and delivery traffic to help deter unauthorized access and support orderly movement throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
