Job summary

Allied Universal, as a leading security provider, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Shepherdsville, KY. You will monitor and protect a logistics/distribution site, maintain a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding Allied Universal’s culture of integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities include patrolling, responding to incidents, and verifying access, with a 18.00 USD hourly rate and a Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

Qualifications

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Coverage in Shepherdsville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture with integrity and teamwork.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access as directed by site policies, and document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions.
• Support the orderly movement of people and vehicles at the location while following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
