Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and help to deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture through teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to the appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, entrances, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Document daily activities, patrol findings, incidents, and policy violations through clear and accurate reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
