Securitas USA is hiring an Access Control Security Officer in New Jersey. The role involves patrolling premises, monitoring entrances, and enforcing site-specific security procedures to maintain safety and order. Requires fluent English, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License with a clean MVR.
• Valid SORA license or willingness to obtain
• Ability to work effectively under variable weather conditions
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy at all times
• Must remain calm, focused and productive in fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate clearly in person, by phone and/or radio
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with employees, customers, vendors and visitors

• Detect and prevent suspicious behavior, vandalism or other criminal activity

Access Control Security Officer

Schedule: Tuesday to Friday 8am-4pm

Payrate: $17.00

Job Duties:

• Communicate professionally with employees, customers, vendors and visitors

• Patrol premises on foot and/or in Securitas Vehicle regularly to maintain order and establish presence.

• Assist with enforcing company policies and Site-specific security procedures

• Monitor facility entrances, exits, perimeter and designated Security areas.

• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation

• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences

• Responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior, preventing vandalism, or other criminal behavior.

Requirements:
