Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in Clarksburg, WV. You will perform unarmed patrols, deter incidents, manage access points, and maintain a visible, professional presence while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires 3+ years of related experience or a college degree, with CPR/First Aid preferred and background checks and drug screening as standard.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience OR a college degree.
• Basic CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations per site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of offices and perimeter areas to identify hazards and report concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify authorization and maintain logs.
• Communicate observations and incidents to site leadership or emergency responders as directed.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• 21+ Years of Age
• 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.12 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 09:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office, billing operations, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate observations and incidents promptly to site leadership, Allied Universal supervision, and/or emergency responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
