Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for an automotive location in West Point, GA. The role emphasizes access control, customer service, and safety, with weekend shifts and a flexible schedule via our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

Security Officer Access Console Operator in West Point, GA

As an Access Control Officer at an automotive location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and vendors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sun: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive facility by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the location by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and communicating entry requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle traffic, and access-control systems; report unusual activity, access concerns, and equipment issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
