Job summary

Allied Universal in Pompano Beach, FL is looking for a Security Officer Full Time Access Administration to safeguard clients at logistics and distribution sites. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, control access, and document visitor activity while delivering friendly, professional customer service.

You’ll respond calmly to alarms and incidents, perform patrols of buildings, perimeters, and docks, and coordinate with site contacts and emergency services as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and trailer yards, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Support the movement of authorized personnel and deliveries while following site-specific procedures and providing professional communication.

• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
