Job summary

Cologix, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to provide physical security at our facilities in Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ. You will verify identities, monitor cameras, control access, log visitors, and perform routine security checks while responding to alarms and emergencies.

This 2nd shift (Wed-Sat 2 pm–12 am) role requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and strong communication. SORA license is preferred; competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• SORA license preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Willing to work a non-standard shift and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Verify the identities of employees, customers, and visitors entering and exiting facilities.
• Monitor interior and exterior cameras and respond to policy infractions or emergencies.
• Control access for visitors and issue temporary badges.
• Maintain visitor/vendor logs using the PeopleTracker system.
• Conduct routine security checks of doors, windows, and alarms.
• Respond to alarms and notify local authorities as required.
• Serve as first responder for medical emergencies.
• Assist with shipping and receiving per defined processes.
• Address tickets, cases, and emails within the security department.
